Finding my style of photography to shoot my portfolio to show my style & interest in fashion design. Finding my market and targeting it.
                                                               H&M Look book:
Looking at the style of clothing, to help set&match the seen along with, looking into the colour saturation to get the feel of how it makes the viewer of these photos feel.
The photographer I feel really captures the still movement of the clothing in these photos, and works well with the model with the composition she is in.
What I like most is the still movement, and will take this into account when taking photos of the model I will be working with.

Jack Wills Look Book

Looking at the style of photography and clothing, along with a season. Looking at how this can sell the clothing and how the models are not setting poses as such its very much naturally captured.
The photographer I feel really captures the movement of the clothing in these photos, and works well with the models.
What I like most is the movement, and the natural capturing of the moment and will take this into account when taking photos.

Martin Margiela:

Still photography that captures a moment in such affect.
What i mean by this statement, is that even though the model is so still it feels like it will jump out at any moment.
The atmosphere the photographer has created to me is just beautiful, I find the setting the model is in is so deep and interesting, I also like the fact its set in a studio but not studio based. The art work within these photos speaks for it's self and I feel it's speaks for it's self.

Craig McDean of Kristen Stewart:

Looking at the style of set up to this photography as in a sense of feeling and emotion, to help set&match the seen along with, the style of fashion to get the message that is trying to be created though a photograph.
The photographer taking these photos makes me feel really captures with in that distant moment. The fact is it black&white also makes me feel that it's meant to be dark&meant to feel a bit sorry for the person with in that moment. The reason I like this photographers work the most is the scenes of emotion to it, the angles on which he captures the model.
I also really like this work as in my underwear project the point to me doing underwear was to express the way a woman can feel so alone on just a normal day but when putting on underwear and exposing her body it makes a male give her attention which makes her feel wanted, but she doesn't just want the male attention for that little bit she wants it for who she is. So these's photos to me just get the feeling of being alone an no body else to be there.
What I like most is the negative space&lighting and will take this into account when taking photos.

It's Stephen Sprouse mania. First up we have 'Sprouse Up Your Life' by Giampaolo Sgura for Out magazine and then we have'Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down' by Joseph Saraceno for Fantasticsmag:

Looking at the style of photography and the setting of where these's photos are being captured.
The photographer I feel really captures the little movement in these structured garments, and works well with the model with the composition she is in.
What I like most is the darkness with splashes of colour and the confidence in these photos. I like the way the photographer has captured the darkness of a person in these photos an that there are two sides to people an some just like to style themselves in a crazy sexy way. Where these photos have also been taking is great for me, I like how the photographer doesn't exactly have all of the model in the work, but where the cut off points are work really well. And i shall take this into account when taking photos.

Austrian photographer Bela Borsodi is famous for his unusual style in capturing still life objects. Shoes, bags, and accessories take on a new life under his art direction. Check out this editorial 'Role Play' from a recent 2009 issue of Russian magazine, Tatler, for example. Rather than use naked models wearing the accessories as we often see, he's got something more creative going on with hidden models:

I personally don't particularly like these photo's but I think they are interesting and clever. Interesting in away that the underwear base of it, to me is really good, an on the models looks really intricate. Clever in another aspect as how the model is postioned. I really like the element that there is someone touching the model an holding her but you can't see and there blacked out.
Makes you ask the question why are they?
Again these images link back to my project and my theme.
How a man can give a woman attention when he wants to,&it is up to him wither or not people find out. & also up to him how & what people can make of you.

Louis Vuitton by David Hughes:

These photo's weren't exactly to do myself but to find inspiration as my project is underwear and finding a model at a student level to be brave an model would be very little so incase of having to put my underwear on a mannequin I wanted to look into what I could  do/work with.
I think the photographer working with different poses with such a structured model has achieved something really good. Though i wouldn't want to do this exactly as even though the garments are Louis Vuitton I feel they look quite cheap.

Mariano Vivanco photography:

Looking at the material used as in a sense of feeling and emotion, to help set&match the seen along with, the style of fashion to get the message that is trying to be created though a photograph.
The photographer taking these photos makes me feel really captures with in a powerful moment. The fact is it white with colours making up negative space also makes me feel that it's meant to be powerful to an extent to feel why is this such a powerful moment to be grateful for? With in that moment along side the model. The reason I like this photographers work the most is the scenes of emotion to it, the angles on which he captures the model is beautiful.
So these's photos to me just get the feeling of being powerful and standing up for yourself&not letting someone take over you.
What I like most is the negative space&lighting and will take this into account when taking photos.
